COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
PURPOSE
To ensure the effective collection and dissemination of information to the Orleans United Church family and the larger community.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communications Committee's responsibilities include:

the production of the Annual Report

publicizing special church events and programs both within the congregation and in the larger church

ensuring effective advertising of our services and events to the community at large.
POLICY
When planning advertising of an event, the funds for the advertising should be available through the budget line of the committee sponsoring the event.
LIAISON
Two representatives are to be members of the Council, one of them being the Chair or Co-Chair.
Liaison is to be maintained with all committees as required, and with the congregation to ensure the effective dissemination of information.
