TERMS OF REFERENCE
FUND RAISING CO-ORDINATING COMMITTEE
 
PURPOSE 
To organize and promote fund raising events to enhance the financial and fellowship life of Orleans United Church. 
MEMBERSHIP
  • Chair and Co-Chair
  • Secretary
  • Members at large
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • to develop new fund raising programs to enhance the Church's financial and fellowship life
  • to co-ordinate specific fund raising projects as the need arises
  • to co-ordinate church groups/members who are planning fund raising events in order to avoid scheduling conflicts;
  • to ensure that fund raising activities at Orleans United Church fall within the guidelines set by the Council including no gambling and no alcohol
  • to suggest changes to fund raising guidelines to the Council
LIAISON 
Two representatives are to be members of the Council, one of them being the Chair or a Co-Chair. 
Help of the Communications Committee may be enlisted to promote events to the congregation and the community at large.
